And it all fits into a tight spot, perfect for those cramped machine bays. Going with 400V also keeps the current lower on the supply side. That’s a big win because it lets you use smaller wiring and cuts down on voltage drop over distance. Once the tube hits its sweet spot, you get steady, predictable output. No surprises.
The Build: Built to Last, Built to Work
The core is wrapped in quartz. We chose it for one big reason: it handles sudden temperature swings without cracking. Plus, it delivers a consistent infrared glow. Inside, a halogen fill keeps the filament stable. So the heat doesn’t fade as quickly as it would with a standard coil lamp. The tube uses a double-ended R7s connector, which makes it a simple drop-in swap for fixtures that already accept that standard shape. And the coating spreads the radiant heat evenly, so you don’t get hot spots on the target surface.
Where It Shines: Real-World Use
This setup was made for industrial heating jobs where space is tight and timing matters. Think localized heating, drying components, or preheating a process. The R7s connection makes installation and swap-outs quick and easy on the line. But here’s the trade-off: packing 2500W into 300mm means you need proper cooling and clearance.
